Having opened the doors in Darkfall I am putting together a core team comprised of Darkfall subscribers from other games with a track record of PvP and those from the Eve Corp that have made an early switch. The central tenets of the Eve Corp will be transferred over to the Darkfall Clan - a burning desire to kill other players, a willingness to fight against the odds, and a stern determination to always find a solution.
We're not contract ready at the moment, so the early stages will be about finalising the clan structure and working together on training to ensure that we will be as effective and efficient in DF as we were in Eve. The blend between FPS action and MMO depth will provide us the perfect bedrock to develop military style tactics in a game which I feel is a cross between Eve and Ghost Recon in a fantasy setting.
Recruitment, as always, will be highly selective. DF already has a lot of posers in it - people who feel that because they were successful at a watered down version of PvP in some other lenient MMO that they are superior to everyone else. But we've seen this sort before - they'll only fight when the odds are totally in their favour, and cruise around in large gangs making out like they have actually contributed anything. This is not us - we're too nihilistic to take such an easy road.
